What is Emotional Wellness?show more
Emotional Wellness is a practice that analyzes and balances the energy systems of your body. Think of your body as a set of external, or physical, systems. You have your digestive, respiratory, muscular systems, and so forth. Our body also has internal, or energetic, systems. These systems are harder to detect because you can’t see them, but they are there. These systems include the meridian, chakra and aura systems. Energy wellness focuses on resetting and maintaining these internal systems. Often, people find when their internal systems are healthy and happy, their external, or physical systems function much better too.show less
What should I expect during a session?show more
All sessions are done over the phone. I will call you at the scheduled time. To prepare, make sure you are well hydrated, rested and find a quiet place without distraction. This is not a therapy session, you will not have to talk, relive or do much work at all. I will connect with your energy systems and use applied kinesiology and magnetic-release technique to clear and balance them.show less
What is Applied Kinesiology?show more
Applied Kinesiology (sometimes known as “muscle testing”) is a technique using the muscular system of the body that receives messages from the subconscious mind about the body and how it is presently functioning. Check out this video to learn more.show less
Our sessions are done over the phone? How do remote sessions work?show more
Our minds are said to be the most advance computer systems in the world. Well, if we can connect to each other in an instant over the phone and our laptop computers, then why not our own minds, if that is the case? It may seem strange at first, but there is an energetic-networking system that allows our subconscious’ to connect. With your permission, I use this system to connect with you and work on you. To western culture, this may seem like a far-fetched concept. However, these techniques have been around for centuries in the eastern world. Give it a try, you will be amazed at how well it works!show less
Is there a religious or spiritual affiliation to this work?show more
Much like yoga and tai chi, emotional wellness has found it’s way to the western world without a specific religious affiliation. However, Energy wellness uses a combination of therapeutic techniques found in many cultures. For example, it combines the Chinese-medicine meridian system with the Hindu-based chakra system. Basically, it gathers all the tried-and-true techniques and combines them into an amazing system that literally has the best of all worlds for energy wellness.
Because we are working on the energy system, which many call “the spirit” or “soul”, it is nearly impossible to take away all spirituality from these methods, nor should we. Faith is a vital factor in this work. However, it is my experience that as long as you have some belief in a love-based Higher-Power centered on Divinely-appointed truth, this work will fit in nicely with your belief system.
On a personal note, I understand that when many people deal with their emotional health, they often prefer to work with a practitioner who shares similar values. Although I strive to not push religion or a specific belief system during my sessions I am happy to share my personal faith.
I am a member of the Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-Day-Saints; a Christian belief system that believes in a loving Heavenly Father and the healing power of His son, Jesus Christ. It is my personal belief that any kind of healing, whether done through western, eastern or purely spiritual practice is made possible by the Light of Jesus Christ. You can read more about the gospel and doctrine here.
Again, there is no affiliation with my practice, nor does any religion endorse it. This work does not replace religious worship nor should it be considered your only source for spiritual health.show less
